Newly Married Bride's Murder Case: Husband Confesses to Killing Her
LAHORE: Murder of newlywed bride, Hira Yaqoob, is taking shape as her husband has reportedly confessed to killing her.
Police sources told that Umar Tanveer, who was married to the deceased bride three days of ago of the killing, revealing the motive behind murder said that his parents forced him into marriage.
The police added that further action will be taken against Tanveer after postmortem report and further investigation in the case.
On the other hand, the dead body of the bride has been handed over to her parents. She has been laid to rest after funeral prayers.
On Wednesday (March 17), Muhammad Yaqoob father of Hira was informed by in-laws just after three days of the marriage that his daughter has been found dead in her room.
Yaqoob reached the house located at Samanabad, an area of Lahore and observed marks around her daughter’s neck, and foam coming out from her mouth. On suspicion, he called the police and lodged a case against his son-in-law and his father under section 220/17.
